I am not kidding you here, that really happened to me and not just once. :D
Now, I have to ask. Was there a hint that we'll be getting a Katy Perry pack for Sims4, recently? Or was I having a nightmare? Or it could be a good dream, if it means a singer career is in the works … - OldeSimsFanSeasoned Rookie

That's better than processing invoices in your dreams and then wondering, in dream, how to get them over to your computer at work so they can be paid. Happens with distressing regularity. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace

When you drive past a church with a trellis in its yard and think, "Oh nice, they got a wedding arch," and then realize it's just a trellis.
LOL, that's great. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace@Oldeseadogge And to think I used to get jazzed if I saw an object from the game, in RL LOL
- You see someone wearing an outfit in real life that you have in your game!
- SEREFRASSeasoned VeteranWow, a simmer that plays like me. And I thought I was just unusual. Way cool. B) :p

Please play along. :)
You get emotional after almost a month of not playing when you lose a beloved sim to the Meteor Death from the Werewolf GP. Literally! I was getting ready to switch households when I got the popup that Ben Cole saw the meteor. By the time I cancelled the travel it was too late. I went as far as to have his sister bring him back with magic. He has since become a vampire, so he's technically still dead! LOL!!
I would have done a save recovery, myself, to prevent the death. But, that's just me. I'm a writer and if a chapter just flat out goes wrong (because the characters don't always read their scripts ahead of time and wing it) I just rewrite it. ;) - OldeSimsFanSeasoned Rookie

When you actually have a big note book to record all the CAS, build modes, careers, environment, NPCs, occults, relationships, skills & traits cheat codes. Plus, playing 6 different Timeline Game Saves. And that's playing only vanilla.
BHAAAAA…. Glad I’m not the only one! I even start a new notebook with each generation and have sim specific information like traits and things so I have record after they’re long gone.
I can relate. No notebooks, but 2 rather fat folders full of all sorts of such notes, not to mention building layouts and ideas. TS2 and TS 4 each have one, and it's hard to tell which is thicker. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace

You, too, eh? I'm of the write as ideas come school, rather than plan it out ahead, and the 3-act structure is anathema.
*To the topic, you start simming in your sleep, so can't remember when awake if something happened in your game or a dream. Can be a source of story ideas, though.
I, too, don't have a whole plotline setup. Mostly, I write about what my Sims did during the gameplay and turn it into a story. I do have one particular goal in mind, however, of which I've not yet achieved. Hence, the reason behind so many restarts. The Main Save I'm playing now, was a do-over from the Refresh that went south. I had just learned what I needed to do in order for him to earn Accolades for his music. Plus, I wanted to have my Rock Star and his wife be the first couple I took through MWS. For high school, I have created what I call a Flashback save, to I can have Erik reminisce about those years/experiences when his eldest is about to go to high school. Wish me luck.
*I think I must have been doing a bit of that last night. Woke up today thinking it was Patch Day. I thought I'd read somewhere it's going to be on Tuesday, July 26th. So, I thought today was Tuesday. :open_mouth:
