As if. Clearly Vampires are the best ones. >:)
*Whispers* (Psst. But I do enjoy Mermaids and Spellcasters more than I expected to. Spellcasters are a close second. Closer than they should be allowed. Too close, in fact. I think they are plotting something. Vlad will have to take care of that. Maybe he should call a meeting of the most powerful Vampires and "resolve" that situation. Anyway, don't trust those Spellcasters.)
??????? - 1. Vampires
2. Toss up between Aliens(bc when I played Sims 4 on my ps4 I made a really cool alien dude-havent been able to recreate him on my pc yet) and Spellcasters(bc I like setting Vlad on fire ?)
3. Mermaids
4. Humans(ugh, we are so boring compared to occults lol) - It used to be Vampires for me, and kind of still is. But, I'm really liking Mermaids these days for the easy weather control
Vampire as a theme is fun, but in the end it's just too easy, same with spellcaster.
I prefer to get my stuff after hard work, like doing the scientist career. I want to really earn the good stuff, and not just gain them freely. - 1. Vampires
Definitely the single most well-made Lifestate ever made in the Sims series, they truly do feel powerful compared to everyone else, the only issue I have with them is it just seems odd for them to be doing *Mortal* jobs or being Celebrities, I do not see why a Vampire would want to be famous as that may risk their Vampiric state being exposed, they are technically the *Evil* lifestate, their powers seem to be all about oppressing others.
2. Spellcasters
Not as "well-made" as the Vampire system given how many Bugs they have (Their immortal potion does not even work) and they do feel kind of overpowered given how easy it is to learn spells and how you can copypasto things (I have a Spellcaster who duplicated the Money Fruit, imagine making an entire forest of Money Trees) at least the Vampire lifestate does not contain such OP spells and forces you to take weaknesses like being forced to sleep in a coffin (Which is actually a lot more annoying then you think) which counter-balances the fact they are also overpowered but in a more self-preservation kind of way.
3. Everyother Occult-Lifestate
4. Humans
Human Sims are boring, they are outright inferior to Spellcasters in everyway (Try to convince me they are not) - GalacticGal6 years agoLegendMine is on the sketchy side. He's half-alien and half-human. He's Spock of Vulcan. So he's got pointy ears, thanks to Khitsule's cc. But, he's the only 'occult' I have ever played with, beyond a ghost, which was purely accidental. I play on full autonomy and the widow asked the ghost of her deceased husband to move in before I could stop it. :open_mouth: So, I have played with a ghost. I've got news for you. Ghosts are demons and I'm not happy about it one little bit. :#
- Between Aliens and Vampires, I have to choose the Vamps.
I do plan on getting Realm of Magic and Island Paradise relatively soon though, and I have really high hopes for Merfolk and Spellcasters! - atreya336 years agoLegend1. Spellcasters. I like the spells, the option to cast them with or without wands, the variety in familiars, the strange but beautiful magic realm ...this pack, despite all its flaws, is my favourite.
2. Aliens. I like the disguises, the male pregnancy, the powers
3. Mermaids just because they are so cool when they swim. And the weather controlling power are a very nice touch for combining packs.
4. Vampires. I admit they are one of the best when it comes to gameplay but undeadbloodplasma drinking creatures of the night just aren't my thing.
The ones I would like to add to this list (this was actually my top 3 in sims 2)
robots : most likely to end up in the top 3. I am happy they will be added to the game in a few weeks. I don't know what position until we know more about them.
werewolves : I really hope they will be added to the game at some point.
plantsims : one of my favourites in sims 2 but the version we have in sims 4 is just a temporary affliction, not a proper occult. I really hope they get updated. - bshag4lv6 years agoSeasoned AceFor me it's a tie between vampires and spellcasters, probably the casters are my most favorite. I did like the fairies in Sims 3 but I don't care for the aliens or plantsims. (They are still witches and wizards to me.)
- Kathykins6 years agoSeasoned AceSince we don't have fairies (yet! please don't let the spellcaster familiar be IT, EA?) and I haven't played ghost (because none of my sims die, like ever) or plantsim (because I can't be bothered for a temporary lifestate) and barely played alien: Vampires! of course! Don't think the ones I haven't played would ever overtake vamps as my favourite.
Sure mermaids and spellcasters are nice, but really...they can't compare. I am playing a vamp/spellcaster mix type of guy, though...and I have a feeling he'll be quite fun when I get him some more magic rank. He's GM vamp with basically all perks, since I couldn't access his vamp perk panel after turning him into a caster. - I have access to all occults, but I haven’t really played with many of them actively yet. Until I got RoM. I have played a lot with spellcasters lately and loved it. So they are my favorites so far. :) I like that they look like humans and can use their powers if they want. But they don’t have to.
