@Mareah It depends. In the Sims 2 deleting memories was not possible and cheating to delete them was pretty dangerous. It could lead to file corruption. That was because Sims would think about their memories a lot, or they would talk to other Sims about things that recently happened to them. Even some of the gossip they talked about was based on the memories. So once you deleted a memory and sims tried to gossip about it the information would turn corrupt. And since gossip would automatically spread around among Sims in town the corrupt information would spread around with it and eventually lead to game corruption.
This is also why you couldn't delete sims that easily.
If they found a way to solve that problem I would love to have the option to delete memories.
