I prefer the TS2 memory system. Customise memory album is nice, but I would prefer if the game auto-generated the memory, especially all the significant events, and perhaps, paired it with the emotion too.
For example, those that hate kids probably have a bad memory raising a child or non-committal Sims would have a bad memory getting engaged or married. Then when they're elder, they could actually retell their stories to their kids or perhaps the reminiscence about such memories.
