In the Burkett household (composed of Kory and Priscilla Burkett, and their two children, Connor and Chloe , in a 2-bedroom apartment), the usual routine is for one of the parents to wake up and take care of Chloe, while the other goes and makes breakfast (4:00am). Parent #1 proceeds to get ready for the morning, and usually by the time parent #2 is done making breakfast, Connor is awake (6:00am).
When breakfast is finished with (7:00am-8:00am), parent #2 goes and gets ready for the morning, while Connor gets a bath and some play time with parent #1, until it's time for both parents to go to work (9:00am).
Connor and Chloe sometimes go to daycare, while other days they are taken care of by a babysitter. Usually (if the day is spent at home), it's all playtime for Connor.
Kory gets home at 5:00pm, so he fixes dinner and checks up on the kids. Priscilla gets home at 6:00pm, and they all eat together. Whoever doesn't do the dishes afterwards (6:00pm-7:00pm), gives Connor some learning-time and then gets him ready for bed (8:00pm-9:00pm), and most of the time he sleeps all through the night.
