"You're getting more popular - clearly you're a good person to know!

Is it just me or is this text message really annoying? Everytime my sim meets someone new, somebody sends it to her and its just so poorly written. Who speaks like this to their friends?..

    im hoping theres a mod for it i hate them. esp since i would get them from my spouse.
