[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household
Hey, I'm having a problem with The Sims 4. After updating, items are disappearing from my inventory. Mods are disabled. I thought the update should fixes bugs, not creates new ones. XD

As of February 2026, the current and only known cause of having all of these issues together (not just one of them) is an outdated version of Deaderpool's MC Command Center, from before the September 2025 game patch:
- Sims' personal inventory is empty every time the household is loaded, AND
- all fridges are empty, AND
- all bookcases are empty, AND
- autolight settings reset every time the household is loaded
Update MC Command Center to the current version (do check first that it's not broken, especially just after a game patch). After this, you'll find content is showing again in fridges and bookcases. For inventory, if you saved with it empty, you'll need to load a previous version of your save to get it back.
If your Sims' inventory is emptying on loading but there are books in bookcases and leftovers etc. in the fridge, this isn't your thread.
