[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

Hi all,

We've confirmed that the newly reported issue of items disappearing from inventory is related to outdated mods. To resolve the issue, please update your mods & load a previous save of your save file to recover your items.

I have a house with 4 kids, 2 adults and every time they leave the home lot, everything in their inventory disappears when they come back. Also, when I buy books (like homework) for the kids since it disappears from their inventory so I am constantly re-buying some, the library will appear completely empty. I've tried repairing my game, updated all my mods, nothing is helping.

All I did was repair the game and then move my game to an external drive, delete the current Sim 4, add back the mod file, the saves and the tray file and start up the sims 4 and that problem was fixed.

I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue. Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See Broken and Updated Mods and CC for other mods you might need to remove or update. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates. On the unlikely chance that you are here as a console player or had an empty Mods folder when this started, please reply with an @ and let me know.

I kind of stopped building worlds and just made individual characters or a family world for each new game because they ultimately end up corrupt and some of those worlds I put in a lot of work.
