[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

Hi all,

We've confirmed that the newly reported issue of items disappearing from inventory is related to outdated mods. To resolve the issue, please update your mods & load a previous save of your save file to recover your items.

While playing, my sim's inventory will disappear when traveling to a new location and when starting up the game. I have tried repairing the game, but that has not worked. I use mods and will check through all of those.

Hi You should be on this page. It was an issue for a lot of users, and this page offers a solution. In my case it was MC Command that needed updating.

Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See the broken mod lists linked in Mod & CC Issues: START HERE for other mods you might need to remove or update, and check current status for patch 1.120. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates.
