a mod to stop sims running everywhere?

Many moons ago I had a mod that sorted this, but the only one I can find seems very old. I can just about put up with it when sims are out in the world, but when sims walk out the kitchen door and run to the picnic table its just horrible.

I have looked all over for a mod and am coming up empty :(
