Veedock You need to head to PC Tech to find out what should be happening with a Steam Deck install. At least that's my best guess.
There is sometimes a difference if you have a mod that adds to the program (not the user folder) files and the Game Repair doesn't delete the added file. For that, you have to uninstall first. And for Steam installations, you do the file repairing from Steam, not from the EA App. It's just called something different.
Is this issue still, then, happening without mods in your new installation?

Veedock Okay, not sure how this works on a Steam Deck in terms of where to find the option, but can you run Verify Files, then test in a new save?
