Adjusting Rarity/Difficulty for Skill Products

I would like to make lower quality products much more common. For instance, I would like for poor/bad/normal quality meals, artworks, books, etc. to be much more common.

Please direct me to the setting or mod I must use to adjust how difficult it is to create different levels of quality. I have some mods installed that make it very easy to make excellent+ products even at level 1. I basically want to make it so that you have to be high level AND naturally talented in a skill in order to have a significant chance (maybe 30% base chance at level 10) of making excellent+ products (artwork, books, food, etc. etc. etc., you get what I mean).

  • They do so indirectly. They revamp the mood system but do not rebalance the products. This involves giving more differentiated mood states (+1, +2, +3, +4 are all common values depending on various factors) as well as more mood modifiers. I value the added depth of the moods a lot, so removing the mods would be a worse solution than making the products more rare.

    The issue is of course that getting 3 different inspired moodlets is fairly easy given the traits and interactions available in the mods I have installed. I value having these moodlets available, but I wish to balance them manually.

    So this is why the solution must be to change the difficulty of achieving certain qualities. Thank you in advance for telling me how to achieve the solution I seek 🙂
