[BUG] Male Sims’ genitals turn black as soon as any mod is present

Hello, since the latest update (July 2025 – version 1.116), a major visual bug has appeared in both CAS and Live Mode. It affects only male Sims : as soon as any mod is placed in the Mods folder, the genitals of male Sims turn completely black.

What makes this bug especially problematic is that it occurs even if : the mod has nothing to do with the body (e.g., simple hairstyle, social interaction, accessory), the Sim is not using the modded content in CAS, no NSFW mods or **bleep** are installed.

The bug is triggered just by the presence of a mod in the Mods folder — even if it’s not actively applied. On the other hand, if the game is launched completely clean (with no mods at all), the bug does not occur.

I have tested extensively : fully reset The Sims 4 user folder, deleted all cache files (localthumbcache.package, clientDB.package, etc.), repaired the game via the EA App, tested with recent and safe mods only, fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

The problem returns immediately as soon as even a single mod is present, regardless of its type or function. This strongly suggests the bug is related to how the game handles male genital textures when the mod system is enabled, and not due to any specific mod.

I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. Several players have reported exactly the same symptoms, with no NSFW content involved.

Thank you in advance for forwarding this bug to the technical team. It severely limits the use of custom content even completely harmless mods and negatively impacts the game experience in a very specific way.

My sims and even a horse have turned all black and I don't (can't) have mods on xbox.

As I explained, I have already tested everything, even uninstalling the game and emptying the Sims 4 folder. But nothing to do, the bug comes back systematically even when adding a simple hairstyle created recently.
