Alien Pregnancy is broken

Two of my male sims got abducted and they are both showing signs that they are pregnant ( Glowing belly/ sound effects/ pregnancy thought bubble) but it has been a few days in the game and nothing is happening no moodlet or anything and that means I can't make my generation couple have a baby together as the household is now "full", I think its broken, especially because one of the men is 100% alien and I though they couldn't get the alien pregnancy.

please help me.
