all my cc disappeared

this morning i downloaded some cc and opened sims as usual, said it was missing a file so i repaired it... i went to put the cc in the right folder but it was being weird so i pinned mods to quick access. but when i opened the game, all my cc was gone from the mods folder itself! idk what happened, i had like 2500 files but it all deleted! i looked in my trash but it wasnt in there :/ it created ( i think? ) a new mods folder in a "content" folder, i genuiely have no clue whats going on...
