probably not what you wanted, but, how you would "convert" Alpha CC to MM is by studying the Alpha CC in question, making notes of where the hair parts, which direction it's flowing, etc. and then meshing out your MM cc according to your notes, referencing the Alpha CC occasionally.
recreating CC in another style skips a majority of the work of the "concept" phase, considering you already have your object- a good comparison would be using a picture of a hairstyle as a reference for a character you're drawing.
I'd have to look at both CC to tell you how I think they did it.
