Issue has been fixed

Mods/CC only works in curseforge but doesn't work if I use the electronic sims 4 mods folder

When I open my game with mods/CC in the electronic arts sims 4 mods folder the mods/CC don't work and the pop up to list the mods/CC when you open the game is also gone although if I install a mod or CC in curseforge then play the game the mods/CC works fine and the mods/CC pop up is back anyone know what's going on/how to fix it?
