Asterisks replacing sims mood in conversation

Hi,
I'm having some bugs with the relationship bar thing. It's constantly flickering and does not show the mood of the sim. I also can't gain or lose friendship or romance. I think this happened when I added a relationship bit. I do have mods enabled but it is only this household where I'm having this issue. I've reset the sims and restarted my game but nothing has worked yet.

    @lxstdesires 

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
