Auto aging played sims glitch/bug

So whether my Sim is a child or a toddler, I still get the bug that they will keep aging until they are elder. or that they simply skip certain life stages.

I have both auto aging on for played and unplayed sims and the lifespan is on normal.

I thought that this particular bug was fixed several patches ago, but apparently I still got the bug.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

I already tried turning auto aging off, saving the game, close the game, restart the game and turn auto aging on again to see if that helps but alas.

    @kihijushinobi27 Do you have Mods/CC? If you do, you can troubleshoot as follows:

    Try moving the Mods folder from your "The Sims 4" folder [Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4] to your desktop (save it for reference) and delete the localthumbcache.package file in your “The Sims 4” folder. Then check in a new game save to see if this issue is still occurring. You can test without saving in order to identify which CC/Mods are causing the issue, then remove or add updated version(s) of the Mod/CC causing the issue.
