Baby taken for no reason!!!

My sims baby was taken away for absolutely no reason at all, no warning, no nothing. I had just fed the baby,changed it and cuddled it, literally one IRL minute before it was just whisked away! I have a nanny, and a full household that takes care of this child constantly, it had max relationship levels with both parents and I'm absolutely mind blown and totally and utterly devastated. The babys icon was in the green when it happened! I play on Xbox so I do not use mods and this is my first time ever posting a bug report but this is totally heart breaking. I read that I should be able to transfer her back into my household by going to manage worlds and finding her in the "not in world" section of the households menu but when I did, she wasn't there. I'm absolutely infuriated. This is ridiculous! In real life if a parent gets their children taken away they atleast get their day in court and have an opportunity to get their child back but in the sims? nah some stupid bug means the game gets to call me a crappy person and then deletes my baby.

    @DandyRapt0r , did you save your game at any time after the baby was taken away?  If not, you might be able to close the game without saving and then reload from your last save (before the baby was taken).  The downside is that you might loose a lot of gameplay if you hadn't saved in a while, but it might be worth it to get your baby back! 🤨

    Also, are you playing on a console or are you playing on a PC or Mac? If you are playing on a PC or Mac, do you use any Mods or Custom Content (CC)? 🤔

    If you are not using Mods or CC then you might see if this bug that was reported back in 2019 sounds like your problem : [NEEDS INPUT] Baby taken away although taken care of - Answer HQ (ea.com)  If it does, then you can click the Me Too button at the bottom of the first post (so EA knows that it is still happening) , and you can add your explanation to what happened in your game by replying to that post. 😀 Granted, you need to not be using Mods/CC before doing this, as those items can mess with your game if you are using outdated ones! 🤨
