Blank CC thumbnails in CAS

Anytime I go into CAS, my cc takes almost forever to load and when it eventually does the thumbnails that the cc creators created get turned into the regular maxis thing so I hardly know which one base game and mine. Even though I have quite a large number of cc it still loads up before and it's always fast. I saw that you can use Sims 4 studio to fix the issue with this DX11 thing and when I did it, it didn't even work and took a very long time to do the updating (I also reduced my cc like crazy here) I've also repaired the game multiple times and it didn't work, also did the 50/50 thing but didn't even work and when I deleted my localthumbnailcache stuff it didn't work and same for when I didn't delete it and its going on for all my cc items in CAS and its very frustrating. Pls help 😢

  • @debsimz Re. thumbnails, did you ever use Sims 4 Studio to remove thumbnails in a batch fix? If so, the only way to get them back is to redownload the CC.

Slow loading can be just a question of quantity. Try this:

    1. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop
    2. Delete the file called localthumbcache (you need to do delete it every time you remove or replace a file in Mods)
    3. Start Sims 4 and check load time in CAS in a new save

Now exit and do these steps:

    1. Copy just one creator's CC into the newly created Mods folder
    2. Start Sims 4 and check load time in CAS

@luthienrising Nope I don't think so, but I found out that my cc was outdated like crazy and I merged my cc so it was really slow to load up too so I'm getting a new batch of cc and it works now. Tysm tho!

Hii! What batch fix did you use to fix the thumbnails? Some objects in my game also have no thumbnails, and I've also used the DX11 fix in Sims 4 studio, but it didn't work 😔
