Book Nook Kit items not being registered as being from kit

I purchased the book nook kit when it came out and have been having this problem since. In the build/buy catalogue all the items and the wallpaper that came with the kit aren't tagged as being from the kit. There's no emblem on the image thumbnail - they just look like they are from base game.

With the new update out as well where you can now filter by specific kit the book nook kit isn't an option at all. Kits I don't own are greyed out however the book nook kit isn't even on the list as a greyed out option - its like the kit doesn't even exist.

I've noticed the greenhouse kit also is having the same problem in the filter where it isn't showing up at all but I don't own that one to comment on whether the objects in the catalogue are having the same issue. 

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the kit as well as repairing my game however neither fixed the issue. I've searched around for some answers but I can't see anyone else having this issue.
