Two new mod/CC-support tools worth knowing about:

TS4 Mod Hound is an online tool by Lumpinou. It includes a feature that scans your Mods folder for various issues, including missing requirements for mods by opted-in modders (as you might guess if you use Lumpinou’s mods, this started as a project for her own mod users!).

PlumbBuddy is a downloaded app by CodeBleu. It tracks your Mods folder in an ongoing way, watching for new issues in it, some of them different from what TS4 Mod Hound does. Like TS4 Mod Hound, it will do more for your mods/CC when creators are opted in. The PlumbBuddy opt-in process for an individual mod involves a “manifest,” so you’ll see that mentioned more by creators. IMPORTANT NOTE: Neither tool intervenes in your Mods folder by itself. No tool exists that can, by itself, find all broken mods and CC.

A note re. mods, bugs, and Rewards Events

Please consider doing Rewards Events on a separate save with an empty Mods folder. This will ( 1 ) help avoid any mods conflicts with the event, ( 2 ) prevent any issues from messing with your favourite save, and ( 3 ) possibly mean fewer other game events interfere with the Rewards Event.
