These were filled with custom builds and now they are all gone.

I know it must have something to do with my mods and the update, so any suggestions for what specifically could have deleted literally all of my custom builds(because it wasn't just this world)? I know to do the 50/50, but I have A LOT of cc, so that would take me hours, and if someone has had the same issue, it would help me a lot.

  • I know of no mod that deletes builds from a save, but you can test with a vanilla test (click that link for instructions). It sounds instead like you've loaded an earlier version of your save from before you added more builds to it. Use "Load" in the Main Menu to see what other ones you can find. If you run a syncing program like OneDrive, it might have swapped out old saves.

Thanks. Followed your advice and then did a 'recover save' after it didn't work and it added my custom builds back(although unfortunately not the ones I did after that save which were the ones I conveniently didn't save to anything).

If you look in your Gallery library, you'll need to tick the spot which says you want to see CC builds. I've had some panics about builds I've done that didn't show up until I realized that the Gallery only shows non-CC builds (and Sims) unless you tick that "CC" box.

But as Luthienrising says, beware of OneDrive. Many of us have found that OneDrive messes up our games. One of the most common things is that it replaces the old, un-updated mods for the ones you've carefully made sure to update. Very frustrating. (I turn off syncing for that reason. I uninstall it, but when Windows updates their OS, it replaces it, unfortunately.)
