About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game updates or declared unsupported by their creators. It also tracks updated game mods and important updates to custom content. If you use mods, this thread's compiled lists and ongoing reports can help you prevent game errors and help you avoid having to do a 50-50 of all your mods. You can bookmark this topic and sort by NEW to check the day-by-day lists of additions that start after the compiled lists. SORT THE THREAD FOR WHAT YOU NEED: For the COMPILED LISTS, sort by Oldest For the MOST RECENT INFO, sort by Newest NOTE: Transferring the list to the new Forums turns out to do some odd things to the longest posts: Updated Mods and Previously Broken Mods, hiding them from scrolling (for some people, some of the time). Some things are NOT covered: early-access content separate translation files from someone other than the original mod creator various creators/mods because of the T (for Teen) game rating (no adult mods! that includes murder etc.), EA and EA Answers HQ rules, and the Maxis guidelines for Sims 4 content creators, including the requirement that all (working) content be made free after a reasonable time. new mod add-ons (mostly) and new alternative versions of mods updates to loading screens, CAS backdrops, main menu backgrounds, and poses unless it's clear that the update fixed an error Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod mini-updates (ones that don’t change the version number) cosmetic, thumbnail-change, new-swatch, and tag-change updates to CAS and Build/Buy CC mods and CC hosted on sites hosting mostly adult content mods requiring free membership on a site that under-18's can't join In addition, update news from Mod the Sims is likely to be selective and delayed. About This Thread

This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game updates or declared unsupported by their creators. It also tracks updated game mods and important updates to custom content. If you use mods, this thread's compiled lists and ongoing reports can help you prevent game errors and help you avoid having to do a 50-50 of all your mods. You can bookmark this topic and sort by NEW to check the day-by-day lists of additions that start after the compiled lists.

SORT THE THREAD FOR WHAT YOU NEED:

For the MOST RECENT INFO, sort by Newest

NOTE: Transferring the list to the new Forums turns out to do some odd things to the longest posts: Updated Mods and Previously Broken Mods, hiding them from scrolling (for some people, some of the time). NOTE: This thread also covers game update 1.112.519, a mini-patch. See the patch notes here. I won’t be listing re-clearings of mods. I am selectively resuming MTS updates, but they will often be delayed.

Some things are NOT covered:

early-access content
separate translation files from someone other than the original mod creator
various creators/mods because of the T (for Teen) game rating (no adult mods! that includes murder etc.), EA and EA Answers HQ rules, and the Maxis guidelines for Sims 4 content creators, including the requirement that all (working) content be made free after a reasonable time.
new mod add-ons (mostly) and new alternative versions of mods
updates to loading screens, CAS backdrops, main menu backgrounds, and poses unless it's clear that the update fixed an error
Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod mini-updates (ones that don’t change the version number)
cosmetic, thumbnail-change, new-swatch, and tag-change updates to CAS and Build/Buy CC
mods and CC hosted on sites hosting mostly adult content
mods requiring free membership on a site that under-18's can't join

In addition, update news from Mod the Sims is likely to be selective and delayed.

In the end, YOU are responsible for your mod use. Because not all content and creators are covered on this official forum, many of you should be following creators directly for news. The pinned topic How to Use Mods and CC includes advice about game updates, mod management, finding broken mods, and how to avoid downloading broken and malicious content. And remember… Back up your Saves folder!
