With my default eyes installed, the eye color swatches would disappear and human toddlers would end up with vampire eyes (similar to what happened after the toddler patch).
The CAS sorting sometimes won't show items if I have a filter on, etc. etc.
Everything worked fine before so I'm presuming the patch broke how cc eyes work as well as clothing/cas?

Yes, that's a common issue for CC clothing. Sims 4 Studio should have a fix for it in the next update.
