Also the Fashion career (brittpink?). My sims in this career still have their jobs but won't go to work. I downloaded the updated version only this morning.
I had the same issue with lost jobs. Seems you need to cheat the jobs back in. The cheat codes work, at least :) Not sure about the Fashion career issue.
