Mcc has been confirmed to work so I left that in. The no ask for advice triggered a fatal error and the game would have crashed without MCC catching it. The all year pants cause buy/build issues so scarlet updated it but now the mod does not work. I put all the plants in household inventory and placed them again. I have out of season plants. So I took it out.
No ask for advice did not cause problems until the teen in the household autonomously asked for advice. I could not figure it out at first. Sims would be eating and then all the Sims at the table would instantly pop out of their chairs. MCC would pop up with the error message. So I took out all mods but MCC and loaded the house again and instantly got the parenthood ask for advice pop up that I dislike. I have no problems since and now I am adding mods back one at a time and playing. It's definitely no ask for advice causing the problem for me.
