This is what I mean, I clicked on the stove in the kitchen section and went to the bathroom section and it didn't minimize.

You mean it didn't change the catalogue to the bathroom section from the kitchen section? Did you still have a stove selected when you clicked on the bathroom section, as in, did you still have one grabbed and ready to place?

No I didn’t, I just switched to the bathroom category without anything selected

Ok. Do you think it’s some kind of lag in the correct catalogue displaying or does it just stay on the previous catalogue display forever until you click on an object?
Are you using any Mods or have you previously?No lag, it stays until I click on a object. No I reinstalled the game so no mods or cc
