Cannot raise or lower floors PC

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Holiday Celebration Pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sims 4
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot toggle the up/down options to raise/lower the floors.
What do you expect to see? Because of this I cant see the inside of my house or allow my sims to go inside of it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I don't have any mods or anything like that-this just suddenly started happening recently. It also happened just after I finished building a new house for my sims, not sure if that has anything to do with it?
Could you try if the following steps work for you (you need to do all of them)
- Evict the family from the lot through the map
- Enter the house into build mode from the map
- Page up and down all the way so you went through all the floors
- Go back to map
- Move family back in
- Load in live mode
- Bug should be fixed (I did not test if it comes back next time you load the game)
