Can't buy business lots

Question

I have all the expansion packs execpt for high school years, same with game packs, I just don't have my wedding stories or dream home decorator.

I wanna pourchase the retail lot i placed specifically for my new household but whenever I click on the phone to buy a retail lot my sim gets the action icon, proceeds to use the phone but after a few seconds they stop using the phone and they don't go to manage world to actually purchase the lot. The same happens with any other business. I'm playing on an hp pc.

I've tried using the computer, I repaired the game, I even used the business tab where you can select what type of business lot to buy but I still can't!

Please help!

@Ashiesystem  Are you using any mods/cc ? If so have you tried without them ?If not, have you tried travelling to the lot you want to buy and buy it from there ?

I do have mods and cc. I’ll try checking which one is broken. But I’ve already tried going to the lot and buying it there, it doesn’t work.
