Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back.

Does it run on a fresh folder without putting anything back ?yes i did.
and yes i tried it before and after putting this back and it worked for a bit then stopped working again.
Hey I’m confused lol I’ve done what you suggested and when I click to play the sims it’s taking me to the new save without any my previous saves or anything it’s showing like the game is brand new and I’m stressing I’ve lost all my things. Please help😫
@DebbieMc89 This is a normal aspect of testing in a new Sims 4 folder if you've renamed or moved the original folder to do that. After you confirm that your new mod-free save works, you can start copying files from the old folders into the new ones.
