Can't join a career

Question

None of my sims are able to join a career. Every time I prompt them to do so, the career window comes up blank/doesn't show up at all. I have already tried factory reset to see if my mods were the problem, but the issue was still there even in the new game. Then I tried deleting thumbnail cache and it still didn't help. Any tips?

@frozenbuttersock&nbsp;Rightclick the game in Origin and select Repair.

I did, multiple times. Still didn't work. But I reinstalled the game yesterday and the problem was gone, so I guess that worked
