It's been about 6 days now and I cannot open the sims. I deleted all mods/cc. I ran a repair, I uninstalled the entire game, I deleted my cache, I've run as Administrator, and nothing.
EA can you finally get your **bleep** together and put out a game that works, with FAR LESS ISSUES that seem to happen to a lot of people on a regular basis, k thanks.
Unfortunately I have the same problem. I am really mad about it. I already cleared the cache and reinstalled the game and app and nothing woked out. What should I do? Wait? For how long. I have never had a problem with TS4 before. 😑
I'm removing the game, and going install by install to see if I an figure this, I'll let you know if I figure this out.
So, all the packs are functioning. I managed to open the game after repairing Lovestruck. I then transferred all my CC back into the mod folder and ran the game successfully. Next, I started moving package files from the TSR CC Manager back into their folder in mods. Everything was fine until I moved one specific package back into the mods folder and tried to log in—it broke my game again. I identified the problematic package, deleted it, and now everything is working smoothly once more. I'm currently updating all files via the TSR CC Manager, hopefully this doesn't break the game again.
