Can't place any lots or rooms. Please help.

I have many lots that I've download from online so my tray has 502 items in it. Every time I try to place a lot on any space, the game will just load the lot that was already there instead of the lot I want to place. Same thing with rooms, it's very annoying. I am unable to place any lots or rooms no matter if I update the mods I have or remove broken ones. It's really frustrating and I am not sure how to fix this issue. If anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this problem I would be very grateful. Thank you and please let me know how to fix this problem, it sucks when you download cc lots/rooms and you can't even place them or see them in the game. Not only do the cc lots/rooms not work, any lot/room placing doesn't work. And after the game loads the lot/room, I am unable to open the main menu, the gallery doesn't work, and I am unable to go back to manage worlds.

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game to see if you can place a lot or a room from the build menu.
    If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

    Thank you I will try that method. I'll report back if it doesn't work, hopefully it will though. Does repairing the game work??

    Sure there is - just figure out -exactly which mod is causing the issue- and simply remove only that mod, then delete localthumbcache.package file.
