Can't show off sweater because it's "already available in CAS"

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs, Parenthood, My First Pet Stuff and Nifty Knitting
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go too CAS and give a sim the "Lady/Lord Of the Knits" aspiration. Get to level three and knit a sweater. Click on the sweater while it's in your sims inventory, "Add to Wardrobe" will be greyed out. Equip a sweater through CAS, and there will be no option too show it off. Because of this, you can't complete the aspiration.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sweaters (and socks/beanies) will already be available in CAS when you download "Nifty Knitting" even though you haven't crafted anything. Because of this, you cannot add sweaters too your wardrobe, and can't show off sweaters (even if you equip the already available sweaters). You will not be able to complete the "Lady/Lord Of the Knits" aspiration because of this.
What do you expect to see? Sweaters, socks and beanies shouldn't be in my wardrobe when I download the pack because I haven't crafted them yet. I should be able too add crafted sweaters too my sims wardrobe and then equip them, too show them off and complete the aspiration. (Or at least be able too show off the sweaters already in my wardrobe)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I just downloaded "Nifty Knitting" two days ago, and gave my teen sim the "Lady/Lord of the Knits" aspiration. When I checked CAS, all of the sweaters, beanies and socks were already available (I thought this was supposed too happen). When I got too level 3 of the aspiration, I wasn't able too add the sweater I had just crafted too my sim's inventory because "This household already has this item available in Create a Sim." I had already added a sweater too my sim's cold weather outfit, so I tried equipping that and showing the sweater off too her brother, but there was no option too. The only thing I can think of is it might be because she's a teen, but that doesn't explain why the items were already in CAS.
