Can't Start or save a new game

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage Living, Island Living, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, Get to Work, Backyard, My First Pet, and Jungle Adventure
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When you go to New Game to create a new family, after you're done creating, the family won't save.
What happens when the bug occurs? Create a new game/family, and it won't save. You click on the check mark and it will remain loading.
What do you expect to see? New game should be created and allowed to play with.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After installing the new expansion Island Living, the issue started to happen. Tried uninstalling the game multiple times but the issue remained.
When you click on the check mark, it stays loading and nothing happens
