career menu won't show up

So today I was playing the Sims 4 when I noticed that I wasn't able to start a new career suddenly. Since I didn't know what to do exactly I googled some things up and according to some topics I deleted all the mods/CC that I had installed. Which was weird since I never had any trouble with those mods, however, once everything was deleted it still didn't work. 

Afterwards I cleared the cache of Origin as suggested in a topic, but unfortunately it didn't help in any way. My Sims were still not able to start a career or whatever, not through the phone or computer. So, I decided to go to the Origin folder and change the name of the 'Sims 4' folder into 'The Sims 4 Backup', 'fix' the game through Origins and start again. I taught that this actually would work but here I am since nothing seems to work. Included is a screenshot of what kind of pop-up I get. 

I am really not sure what I need to do and how this can happen. The Sims 4 is updated, the game is 'fixed' several times, the whole folder is empty, all MODS/CC are deleted, Origins Cache has been deleted... any suggestions on what I can possibly do?
