@pvdkl Did you test a new save when you renamed the folder and had the same issue or just on that one save (just to be sure) ?

@crinrict Once I started up the Sims I immediately came to the CAS set up and I needed to make a new Sim. So I assume that it was a new safe?

  Could you try making a new windows user and start the game from there and see if that has the same issue ?

    @crinrict Im running from a Mac. However, I made a new user, downloaded a whole new game at Sims but still the same problem unfortunately ☹️
    
    I honestly have no idea what is happening and how I can fix this..
