I recently updated my game for the sims4 and it has been fine and all but when I went to create a family in Cas, I started off with a normal human sim and I wanted an occult family so I tried to delete that sim after I added an occult sim to start fresh and I clicked the delete sim button but instead of deleting it my screen turned a blue color and the sim was still moving in the background and I wasn’t able to click anything. After a few tries I still got the same response even after repairing my game. How do I fix this? Is this happening to anybody else?

Hi, So I've been experiencing several problems with my sims since thee update and I dont know why. I thought I fixed it until I opened my cas. I noticed whenever I go to make a second sim that it automatically has the same name as my first sim and whenever I go to change it nothing happens or it changes both sims names to the one I changed.

I've updated all my mods and researched which ones were not compatible Idk if its the mods or cc.

@Scarvlt There could still be conflicts or anything so the question is the same as above: Does it work if you remove all mods/cc ?

@Scarvlt For me it is the same but I also can not click on a sim to change the outfits no mods or cc installed. I had styled my Sims. I had Cas.fulledit mode on and wanted to see whether I can change the traits of sim with five traits. It didn't really work. It looked messed up. Back in game I gave them the top notch toddler trait through a cheat and then I aged up another toddler went into Cas and couldn't do anything anymore. I left without saving went back in game aged them up it went to Cas but couldn't do anything to the clothes clicked on the second sim but name stayed the same. I clicked on an adult and it still showed the children trait. Left without saving tried a different save file. It is the same. Even through I haven't even opened that save file in months. I bought growing together played with infants went in out of Cas all good. But and then was the disabling toothpatch (insert how I played aged up, dressed and went back into game) and now my Cas does not work. I just tried to start a new save. It doesn't work but that doesn't have to be same issue. I haven't made a new save in months and I believe this is just my game crashing. I try to make another new save later and get back with.

@Catniamh I deleted the save files from today and it seems to work again. I will test further tomorrow tomorrow and I will try to duplicate so that I will find the cause.

Hi, I've had that problem before too and quickly became frustrated with having to delete my saves and recreate all my sims from scratch. I think there's a bug with the cas cheat because whenever you try to go back and edit anything that involves the traits it starts acting up, especially if the sims has more than 3 traits. If you only change the clothing and nothing else then it works fine otherwise your sims traits and names are going to be fixed up or the loading screen will be stuck in a endless loop.
