CC- where to find it?
I'm new to the CC world, I dipped my toe in the world of CC last night but I was wondering where people got their CC from or their favourite sites to find cute CC?

- Honestly I tend to just google whatever I'm looking for. When I don't know what I'm looking for I just go to lana's cc finds and browse.
- i find all of my cc on tumblr. although, i only use maxis match cc.

maxis match cc matches the cartoonish style of the game. maxis match cc is mostly made with assets that are already in the game.
alpha cc is more realistic and the meshes are often created from scratch or ported from other games.

alpha cc also requires you to play on the highest settings, otherwise it doesn't look so great, imo. it's harder on your computer as well and takes up more space.- @poltergeist thank you! this was actually really helpful and I see what you mean looking at the photos you posted

- My website of choice is TSR (the Sims resource). People often advise against it, it's a bad website if you don't buy a VIP account. Without a VIP account you'll have to wait 10 seconds before you can download an item.
However I am on a very very slow internet connection at home, which makes it troublesome for me to browse through often very graphically intensive websites and tumblr blogs of CC creators. Using the TSR basket function is the only way for me to get a good amount CC without a lot of loading time (ironically).
There is a lot of bad CC on TSR though, so I feel you need a bit of an eye for spotting which CC will look nice in your game and which will look bad. - You can either go on The Sims Resource, The Sims catalog, Tumblr, there's some on Pintrest,etc.
- Lana CC finds and typing #ts4mm (Sims 4 Maxis Match) in Tumblr is where I find like 90% of mine.
