@ProfessorBagworm Please try this:
- Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and delete the file called localthumbcache
- Run a Game Repair
- Start the game and exit
- Download a new hair CC file; make it a recent one, please
- Install that new hair in the new mods folder
- Start the game to test, preferably loading a new save

This seems to have worked! But my old CC still breaks it. I redownloaded one of the CC items I know was previously breaking it and now it is okay with the redownloaded version. Is there anything I can do to not have to redownload everything?

@ProfessorBagworm Are you using Curseforge? You can get support on how to use the app from Curseforge.

Most of my CC is from thesimsresource. I think I've downloaded things from curseforge before but I don't think it was hair

@ProfessorBagworm Whatever app you're using that updates mods are your behalf should have a way to stop it doing that. None are supported here. You need to go find out how to stop the app from doing redownloading old content for you.
