Client died before house renovation?!?

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? Latest version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Most of them, only ones I don't have are the star wars one and a few stuff packs including paranormal, luxury party and spooky
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the interior designer career
What happens when the bug occurs? Client SIM dies before gig can start, unable to start the gig as no client is present and reputation drops and you don't get paid.
What do you expect to see? The client alive and at the lot when I arrive for the gig
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This has happened once, I was able to wait at the lot for the child of the deceased sim to arrive, I was able to chat to her and get her likes and dislikes, I then renovated the room and proceeded as normal. She did not leave the lot when asked to do so for the career, I was unable to show her the renovation and was therefore failed. I was not paid and my reputation dropped because the client had died! This seems unfair! I have allowed SIM stories to run on my game and am wondering if this could cause Sims to die even when auto aging is turned off?
