crashing

I haven't gotten to play sims 4 since the last update.  I can load it up but the screen that comes up after loading has all the graphics, buttons and all crammed at the top. I can click on it but it does nothing. I've tried everything except reinstall the Sims 4. Does anybody know what's going on? Or has anyone come up with a fix?
