Hello. On the 7th August 2022 Windows added a new update, as it does from time to time. When I opened my Sims 4 to play, a pop-up said all my mods had been removed and replaced with similar in game items. How do I get Sims4 or Windows, or whatever has caused this to happen, to accept the mods again? All my downloaded content is from The Sims Resource, so I know it's OK as my Norton checks it when it's extracted from it's file. I'm not very techie so I would appreciate any answer in non-techie language. Many thanks in advance for any help or advice Jane

Windows has nothing to do with it..

When there is a major update Mods and CC are disabled the popup you got explains why. When you have tested that all mods and CC works or you have downloaded the fixed versions you can enable Mods/CC again. If you saved while your CC where not enabled and/or not updated then the change is permanent. Try to see if you can restore a save before that date.
