Re: [Patch 1.117 on] When Loading Household, Game Returns to World Select Screen

I booted up my sims 4, downloaded some mods and created a household. When I went to pick a house, I paused and came back and it refused. I would click on the place and it would send me to CAS for the place. So I kept backing out and opening the new household file. Then when picking a place, it loaded this screen. It also said that one of my mods was messing with the game. So I went through and deleted it and clicked Repair Game. I come back on and it hasn’t changed and still refuses to let me pick a house for my Sims.

The August 2025 patch (1.117) broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117 as a second starting point, but note many were updated for patch 1.118 and/or are not yet cleared in the current list (for links, see Mod & CC Issues: START HERE). Note that you'll need to find ALL the broken ones you have. The LE will point to only one each time.
