Game launches to black screen

I accidentally update my game without knowing that the mod and cc are broken since the marketplace is out. It updated like usual, but it won't open after that. So I tried to repair it on the EA ...

itstenneo Please see How to Use Mods and CC about using mods/CC after a game update. And please note that a hotfix is expected for .package files that are currently not being read by the game. After today's hotfix, you may find no issues again.

You all are lucky, hell, I can't even see my screen because it is all blacked out. I am surprised it even loaded..

I had the same issue and it was just broken mods. Despite more than half of my CC folder not showing up in the game ATM, I still did the 50/50 method and was able to figure out what mods were giving me the black screen and what mods/CC were giving me the error message when trying to open the game.

For the blackout screen, it was the UI cheats mod and then the error messages i got with some cc I have from pralinesims
