Does anyone have any tips on how to update traits quickly?

I have a ton of traits in my game that won't show up because they're still not updated from the cats and dogs patch that broke them all. I don't see how I put off updating them for nearly year but I'm here now :lol: I've been using this amazing tutorial by the simsvip to update them but it's a long process to update just one! Since I'm so inexperienced it takes me like 20-40 mins to update one ;-; I'm sure if you've been doing this type of stuff for a while it'd be a lot quicker. Does anyone have tips or tricks on making the process quicker? Or will I have to keep doing what I'm doing now? I just wanted to see if I could do it any quicker cause I literally have over 50 traits I have to update and I don't want to waste all that time updating :confounded: Thank you in advance!!
