Duplicate Folder Appearing and Saved Game Won't Show

**SORT OF FIXED**

Hi! I've been trying to consult other discussions on here to sort this out but I haven't been able to find anything specific enough to my problem.

I have two script mods downloaded, MCCC and WW, and the romance bar in game wasn't showing up by itself. My Sims would have the plus heart icon, but no romance bar to go with. So, naturally, I looked at existing discussions on here and after tweaking the settings for both WW and MCCC I decided to get rid of MCCC completely. My game didn't like that.

On opening the Sims, I realised that my saved games are gone, there is no load game button, just an option for a new game. I didn't upload my household to my gallery before this happened so I really hope it hasn't deleted somehow. I haven't tried running the actual game yet, but I am also suddenly getting the "graphics card not recognised" pop up every time when entering.

I was looking at the game files to try to work out what was going on, and I noticed that there is a duplicate Sims 4 folder that won't. go. away. No matter how many times I delete it, it shows back up in my EA folder with a different amount of files in it each time. It doesn't have any of my mods in the folder, and it says it was created last night, around the same time that I removed MCCC, but other than that I'm not sure about the other differences in folders. I've tried pausing OneDrive syncing and it showed back up in my EA folder.

I also copied my MCCC files into a different folder in case I wanted to reintroduce them, so I don't know if this issue is me removing something I shouldn't have done.

Okay so I was trying to get a screenshot in game for the no "Load Game" option and it's seemingly fixed itself. This is so weird. The unrecognised graphics card pop up has gone, it's showing which mods I have like normal and my game is seemingly back. I checked my folder and the good (or now bad) Sims 4 folder hasn't synced to OneDrive (as I turned it off for now) but the weird Sims folder has. Does this mean that the og folder is bad and the weird one is good? What on earth is going on. Is my game still okay to play with and would I be able to turn syncing back on? After all that the og problem didn't even fix itself. The romance bar is still not showing. Any help anyone could provide for understanding all this would be greatly appreciated. I'm more and more confused just reading what I've written. Thanks!!
