Endless Loading

Question

I spent almost a week organizing my mods folder (by creator's name and making folders inside the mods root folder), and then I decided to play last night after finishing it all.

I then load my recent household/game (the one I'm currently playing before I decided to organize my mods) by entering "resume game," and somehow I was stuck loading my game. I tried following some guides here on forums that I might've had the same problem with, and then I moved all my mods out and tested it on my other saved games/households, and it worked; it loaded.

But when I put back the mods, that specific household (the recent one) was stuck loading, but it worked on my other households; they loaded perfectly.

Can you help me with my problems? I followed some guides here but it didn't work.

sweetcrest​ There's a bit in the Mod/CC Issues master post about causes of only a previously played household not loading. Often these are because you&nbsp;removed a mod (a playpen, gig/freelance career, or food mod). Tips are there on what to do.

sweetcrest Since you have organized your mods folder by creator this should be easy. You are going to have to do the 50/50 method. Because you absolutely have a broken mod or piece of cc that keeps giving you the endless screen. I would remove all of your mods to your main screen open your game and get a new mod folder. Don't save just exit. Then one creator at a time put back into your game. open your game and test it out. be sure (NOT TO SAVE YOUR GAME) OR YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE CREATED.Keep adding the creators until you get the endless screen the last folder you placed will be the folder you need to check through for any broken item or mod. Remove it and check in game again. until all broken items are gone.
